Dr. Sheibani earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Tehran Azad University in 2001, then completed a three-year postgraduate program in advanced restorative dentistry at Shahid Beheshti University, where her training focused on reconstructive cases. After moving to Canada she joined the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2011.
She has been practising for more than twenty years and keeps up with continuing education courses, lectures, and peer-reviewed literature, so her treatment planning reflects current evidence rather than habit.
Dr. Sheibani is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and belongs to the Ontario Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She holds a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a certified Invisalign provider.
She works often with children, and takes a slower pace with patients who find dental appointments difficult to sit through. Outside the office she practises yoga, spends time outdoors, and travels with her husband and daughter.
